This is a lovely old version of the Royal Worcester 'Days of the Week' figures made from the 1930's. It is called Wednesdays Child and is modelled as a young girl crying. She seems to have lost her shoe, which is off her left foot and fallen down the side.
It is beautiful quality and handpainted in pinks and blues. The base is open and the Royal Worcester mark is up inside the base and has the rhyme 'Wednesday's Child knows little woe' as well as the pattern number 3259.
She stands almost 7" tall and is approximately 3" at widest and is in perfect condition.
